Actor Viineet Kumar Siingh marked the 13th anniversary of the release of the 2013 anthology film “Bombay Talkies” by reflecting on how some stories, like art, grow stronger and more memorable over time. He shared a glimpse of the short story “Murabba (Fruit Preserve)” from the movie, directed by Anurag Kashyap, expressing gratitude for its enduring impact on audiences.
“Bombay Talkies,” a collection of four short films by renowned directors Karan Johar, Dibakar Banerjee, Zoya Akhtar, and Anurag Kashyap, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013. This cinematic venture was followed by subsequent anthologies such as “Lust Stories” in 2018 and “Ghost Stories” in 2020, showcasing a blend of diverse narratives and filmmaking styles.
Viineet Kumar Siingh, known for his role in the acclaimed web series “Matka King,” hinted at a promising future for his character in the show.
