Sharma expressed his excitement about collaborating with Patel again, describing it as a fulfilling phase in his career. He highlighted the unique creative worlds and strong directors associated with his recent projects, ‘The Peasant’ and ‘The Big Fix’, which have provided him with opportunities to expand his acting horizons.
Sharma also discussed his experience working with director Tarsem Singh on the film ‘Dear Jassi’, emphasizing Singh’s exceptional visual style and his distinctive approach to working with actors. He described the collaboration as a valuable learning experience that added depth to his acting journey.
‘The Peasant’, produced by A24, is the first film by the studio to be shot in India and features an international cast that includes Christian Friedel and Sebastian Bull. On the other hand, ‘The Big Fix’, directed by Baltasar Kormakur and starring Mark Wahlberg and Riz Ahmed, is a crime-thriller inspired by true events. The film follows a former Interpol officer uncovering a global match-fixing scandal within FIFA.
