This year, Vishal will mark a poignant change as he welcomes the New Year without his mother, who is currently in London. He mentioned that it was a long-held dream to take his mother to London, and he was able to fulfill this dream during the promotions of “Homebound.”
Vishal expressed mixed emotions, stating that while he is delighted to see his mother enjoying her time in London, he deeply misses her presence. This New Year will be the first time he celebrates without her by his side, adding a touch of nostalgia to the occasion.
The actor also shared that his film “Homebound,” directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, has been shortlisted for the upcoming Oscar awards in the ‘Best International Feature Film’ category. The movie will be competing with entries from various countries, showcasing a diverse lineup of international cinema talent.
