Actor Vishal Jethwa recently revealed his blister-covered palms in a photo, showcasing his dedication to an intense workout routine for an upcoming film project. His training regimen includes 105 pull-ups, consisting of 40 weighted (10kg), 60 bodyweight, and 5 warm-up exercises. Vishal emphasized a focus on bodyweight training and strength work to enhance overall fitness and endurance as he prepares for a physically demanding role. He aims to maintain consistency, gradually improve strength, and challenge himself daily with disciplined and structured training.
A close source to Vishal mentioned that he has been investing considerable time in the gym under the guidance of his trainer Nikesh, resulting in visible muscle gain after rigorous training spanning over one and a half months. This transformation is in preparation for an upcoming project that necessitates such intense physical conditioning. Vishal’s recent film, “Homebound,” released in January, did not secure an Oscars nomination. The movie, directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Neeraj Ghaywan, stars Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor alongside Vishal, exploring the journey of two childhood friends attempting to clear the national police exam.
Vishal commenced his acting career in 2013 with prominent roles in TV shows like “Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap” and “Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman.” He further appeared in shows like “Diya Aur Baati Hum” and “Peshwa Bajirao,” showcasing his versatility. Transitioning to the big screen, Vishal made his Hindi film debut as the antagonist in “Mardaani 2” opposite Rani Mukerji in 2019.
