Actress Adah Sharma credits the success of “The Kerala Story” for leading her to more significant and challenging opportunities in the industry. Despite common beliefs, Adah shares that the hit film enabled her to secure a variety of complex roles. Post the success of the film, Adah expressed that she has been offered diverse and demanding characters, fulfilling every actor’s aspirations.
Adah gained prominence through her role in the blockbuster “The Kerala Story,” portraying the journey of Shalini, a former nursing student turned wife of a terrorist, showcasing her transformation from innocence to a victim of terrorism. Adah is set to venture into Marathi cinema with the film “Gajra,” based on true events, directed by Shreyas Jadhav, scheduled for release in 2027.
Known for her contributions to the “Commando” franchise alongside Vidyut Jammwal, the 34-year-old actress made her debut in the 2008 Hindi horror film “1920” and has since appeared in various movies such as “Hasee Toh Phasee,” “Heart Attack,” “S/O Satyamurthy,” and “Kshanam.” Recently, she starred in the Manoj Bajpayee-led “Governor,” directed by Chinmay D. Mandlekar, inspired by the 1990 Indian economic crisis and the dynamics between the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the Government of India (GoI).
