Actress Chhaya Kadam, known for ‘Laapataa Ladies’, recently participated in Maharashtra’s revered ‘Wari’ pilgrimage. She walked approximately 20 kilometers barefoot from Saswad to Jejuri alongside numerous ‘Warkaris’. Chhaya Kadam, in a traditional attire, completed the Wari for the second time, as per her social media post. She expressed gratitude for the pilgrimage experience and the presence of the ‘Warkaris’. The actress shared photos and videos capturing the festive and devotional ambiance of the annual pilgrimage.
The Wari pilgrimage, a significant religious event in Maharashtra, attracts lakhs of devotees who walk for days to seek blessings at the Pandharpur temple of Lord Vitthal.
