Actress Isha Koppikar has raised concerns about age bias in the film industry, particularly regarding on-screen romance. She pointed out the common practice of older male actors being paired with much younger female co-stars, while women face scrutiny for aging or showing individuality on screen. In a video shared on Instagram, Isha highlighted the double standards, noting how men are often seen as experienced with age, whereas women are criticized for aging.

She emphasized that while male actors are celebrated for romancing younger actresses, women are often advised to conform to age-appropriate behavior. Isha stressed that a woman’s worth goes beyond physical appearance, with aging symbolizing wisdom and strength. She urged for respect towards women of all ages, emphasizing the importance of acknowledging their life journeys and inner strength.

Isha Koppikar concluded by challenging societal norms that equate beauty with youth, advocating for a redefinition of beauty that transcends age. She emphasized the significance of valuing dignity and confidence at every stage of life, urging a shift away from age-based judgments in society.
