Actress Kashika Kapoor has undergone a significant physical transformation for her role in the upcoming project “CASTE,” gaining around 5 to 6 kilos to authentically portray her character in the drama. The unveiling of the drama’s poster by filmmaker V. V. Vinayak following the completion of the shoot has generated excitement around the project.

The presence of V. V. Vinayak at the poster launch event has sparked discussions in the industry, with many interpreting it as a form of recognition. For Kashika, “CASTE” holds a special significance beyond just being another project, symbolizing a shift towards narratives that combine emotional depth with social relevance.

Kashika expressed her connection to “CASTE,” stating, “CASTE is very close to my heart because of what it stands for. As an actor, I’ve always wanted to be part of stories that leave an impact, and this is one such film.” She also shared her gratitude towards Vinayak for unveiling the poster, emphasizing its importance in her journey and the film’s upcoming release.

Rooted in a caste-based narrative, “CASTE,” backed by the Geetha Arts banner, aims to shed light on societal realities while resonating with audiences on an emotional level. Kashika’s portrayal in the film showcases a strong, multi-dimensional character embodying resilience and transformation. The movie also introduces Gagan, a member of Ram Charan’s extended family, alongside Kashika, creating a fresh on-screen pairing.
