Actress Nimrat Kaur marked her birthday with blessings from Baba Vishwanath at the Kashi Vishwanath temple. This visit to one of the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines was her first. Nimrat participated in the Mangal Aarti during her spiritual journey to seek blessings on her special day.
She shared moments from her unique birthday celebration on her official Instagram account. Dressed in a pink saree, Nimrat was captured offering prayers to Lord Shiva. Expressing her gratitude for the divine start to her new year, she wrote, “Brought in my birthday with Baba Vishwanath’s blessings at the Mangal Aarti this morning. So grateful for all the love, warmth, and kind wishes. Whatever the universe has planned, there couldn’t have been a better start to my new year, my first ever time in Banaras…My heart is full, thank you life…Har Har Mahadev (sic).”
In one photo, Nimrat was seen enjoying the sunset while savoring tea on her room’s balcony. The final image showed the birthday girl on a boat with water surrounding her. Nimrat often shares such special moments with her Insta Fam through social media posts.
On January 23, she honored her late father, Major Bhupender Singh, 32 years after his martyrdom in service to the nation. Nimrat praised her father for his courage and dignity, stating, “It’s been 32 years since Papa left us in the service of the nation. A self-made son of the soil, a peerless husband and father, and beyond everything, a lion-heart soldier who feared nothing, not even death, we were told, in his final moments.” She also expressed gratitude to the Indian Army and the administration for honoring her father’s memory in Ganganagar and the Kashmir Valley.
