As 2025 draws to a close, actress Rasha Thadani reminisces about her debut year, highlighting the song “Birangay” from the period drama “Azaad” as her favorite. Thadani took to Instagram to share a video featuring clips from the song’s shoot, which was sung by Amit Trivedi, Amitabh Bhattacharya, and Meenal Jain.
Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, “Azaad” stars Ajay Devgn and Diana Penty alongside newcomers Aaman Devgan and Rasha Thadani. Set in 1920s India, the film portrays a young stable boy’s bond with a spirited horse amidst rebellion and tyranny, embarking on a journey of courage and awakening to the country’s fight for freedom.
Rasha is all set to display her acting skills in Tollywood with her upcoming project with filmmaker Ajay Bhupathi, tentatively titled “#AB4.” The announcement, made on November 17, featured a poster of Rasha in a black sleeveless top and blue denim, posing against a motorcycle with a determined gaze.
Expressing her enthusiasm for this new cinematic venture, Rasha shared on Instagram, “New beginnings, endless gratitude! Stepping into Telugu cinema with #AB4. Excited to start this journey!” The project, presented by Ashwin Dutt and backed by Gemini Kiran under Chandamama Kathalu Pictures, has details kept under wraps for now.
Additionally, Rasha is gearing up for the release of the romantic entertainer “Laikey Laikaa,” where she stars alongside Abhay Verma. The film, promising a blend of fun, romance, and adventure, is expected to hit cinema halls in 2026, although the exact release date remains undisclosed.
