Actress Rasika Dugal draws inspiration from various sources like literature, music, and podcasts. She recently expressed admiration for figure skater Alysa Liu’s successful return to the ice, considering it a significant motivator alongside books, music, and meaningful discussions.

Rasika shared her quest for inspiration on Instagram, mentioning Alysa Liu’s remarkable comeback at the Winter Olympics as a standout moment for her. She also highlighted the impact of Kiran Desai’s novel on her, particularly the portrayal of Sonia and Sunny’s loneliness, which deeply resonated with her as a young person in 90s India.

In addition to Liu’s performance, Rasika revealed her newfound love for Donna Summer’s “MacArthur Park Suite” on Spotify, a surprising shift from her usual music preferences. She also praised The Indian Express’ “3 Things” podcast for keeping her informed during walks with poor air quality.

Moreover, Rasika mentioned her fondness for the podcast “The Seen and the Unseen,” particularly the episode “A Primer on China,” which she found intellectually stimulating and informative. She invited her followers to connect if they shared similar interests in these sources of inspiration.
