Hollywood actor Adam Sandler considers meeting his wife Jackie during the filming of his 1999 movie “Big Daddy” as fate. Sandler, now 59, and Jackie got married in 2003 and have two daughters. He believes they would have still ended up together even if he pursued his father’s electrical business instead of acting.
Accepting an award at the 2026 Palm Springs International Film Festival, Sandler expressed gratitude for his life and career. He mentioned feeling thankful for the people who supported him and emphasized the happiness he feels at this stage of his life.
Sandler humorously speculated that if he hadn’t pursued acting, he and Jackie might have had a simpler life with a smaller house and fewer extravagant amenities. Despite the years passed, Sandler described his relationship with Jackie as stronger than ever, highlighting their closeness and shared enjoyment of talking, laughing, and caring for their children.
