Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, unveiled ‘Vande Bharatam’, a national program aimed at recognizing and assisting innovators, entrepreneurs, and solvers of issues throughout India. The initiative, introduced on Gautam Adani’s 64th birthday, will extend its reach to all 36 states and union territories, over 800 districts, and various Indian languages.
Adani expressed, “India has nurtured a vast startup ecosystem globally, yet most founders originate from a few cities. ‘Vande Bharatam’ is our endeavor to unearth innovators, solvers of problems, and entrepreneurs whose ideas merit acknowledgment, backing, and a broader platform. We encourage every Indian with the audacity to construct and the resolve to innovate to step forward and engage.”
The initiative is inclusive, welcoming individuals with ideas, innovations, solutions, or entrepreneurial aspirations, regardless of age, occupation, educational background, or development stage. Entries are encouraged from diverse sectors such as technology, manufacturing, sustainability, agriculture, traditional crafts, and community-driven solutions.
Dedicated pathways will promote the involvement of women entrepreneurs, tribal entrepreneurs, rural innovators, Divyang entrepreneurs, and community-based innovators, tackling local challenges. Applications will undergo a thorough evaluation process focusing on innovation, entrepreneurial potential, impact, and scalability.
