Billionaire industrialist Gautam Adani expressed the Adani Group’s strong commitment to driving Bihar’s progress through significant investments in infrastructure, energy, job creation, and social welfare. Adani met with Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary in Patna to discuss the group’s investment strategies for the state. The group aims to contribute to Bihar’s growth by actively engaging in infrastructure and energy projects while focusing on creating employment opportunities and social welfare initiatives.
During the day, Gautam Adani unveiled plans for the ‘ACE – Adani Centre for Eye Diseases’ in Bihar, in partnership with Akhand Jyoti Hospital and the Adani Foundation. This initiative is designed to offer accessible and affordable eye care services to those in need. Additionally, the ‘ATOM – Adani Training Centre for Ophthalmic Medicine’ will play a crucial role in training a new cadre of eye care specialists and female healthcare workers. Adani emphasized the importance of expanding quality eye care services nationwide in the upcoming years.
Gautam Adani highlighted that the objective of these initiatives goes beyond medical treatment, aiming to restore hope, confidence, and dignity in individuals’ lives. During his visit to Mastichak in Bihar, he acknowledged the commendable social service efforts of Gayatri Parivar and Akhand Jyoti at the Gayatri Shaktipeeth. Adani stressed that service is a core value for the group, translating compassion into tangible actions. The ‘Adani Akhand Jyoti Trust’ will persist in its dedicated and empathetic approach towards humanitarian causes, with a commitment of over Rs 700 crore in the future to support healthcare initiatives.
