Adani University has announced a significant update to its academic curriculum for the 2026–27 academic year, emphasizing artificial intelligence (AI) education, enhanced industry exposure, and holistic student development. The revised curriculum spans Engineering, Science, and Management programs, aiming to equip students with future-ready skills while emphasizing the importance of human values and practical experience. A key feature of the update is the introduction of a mandatory course called AI for Engineers, designed to provide students with a foundational understanding of AI and promote ethical AI practices in engineering.
The university has integrated AI concepts and applications across various disciplines to prepare students for an AI-driven work environment. Additionally, the Faculty of Management Sciences has revamped its MBA in Infrastructure Management program to include themes like AI, analytics, ESG principles, and Indian Knowledge Systems. The updated curriculum offers sector-specific specializations, experiential learning opportunities through internships and capstone projects, and aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 to enhance employability and innovation.
Adani University’s revised curriculum, developed through benchmarking with top academic institutions and consultations with industry experts, also incorporates Indian Knowledge Systems into its academic framework. Students will engage in project-based education, laboratory work, and industry internships, with a focus on enhancing practical learning. The university has introduced flexible learning pathways through MOOCs, interdisciplinary electives, and minor specializations in fields like Robotics, VLSI Design, and Financial Data Analytics.
To enhance practical learning further, the university has included project-based courses from e-Yantra, IIT Bombay, focusing on hardware development and software programming. Studio Learning modules have been introduced in selected programs to encourage hands-on problem-solving from the initial year of study.
