Acclaimed actor Adil Hussain has been cast in the role of the sensei in the sequel ‘Lakadbaggha 2: The Monkey Business’, taking over from Milind Soman. Adil expressed his admiration for the first film, highlighting its advocacy for animal rights, a theme he found rare in cinema since the seventies. He praised the director Anshuman Jha and the challenging yet supportive environment during the martial arts training for the film.
Billed as the world’s first animal lover vigilante universe, ‘Lakadbaggha’ completed filming its sequel in June 2025, with Anshuman Jha leading both on and off-screen. The movie promises a martial arts extravaganza with an international cast, including Sunny Pang and Dan CChupong alongside Indian actors Sarah Jane Dias, Vikram Kochar, and Anshuman Jha reprising his role.
