Afghanistan will challenge South Africa in a crucial T20 World Cup match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Despite a loss to New Zealand in their opener, Afghanistan aims to bounce back in this encounter. The Afghan squad, led by Rashid Khan, includes notable players like Mohammad Nabi and Mujeeb Ur Rahman.

South Africa, having defeated Canada in their first match, is eager to continue their winning streak. Aiden Markram captains the Proteas, who are determined to secure their first Men’s T20 World Cup title. The head-to-head record between South Africa and Afghanistan heavily favors South Africa, having won all three previous encounters.

Australia, the reigning champions, will kick off their campaign against Ireland. Led by Mitch Marsh, Australia aims to replicate their 2021 success. Ireland, a consistent presence in the T20 World Cup, seeks to make a mark in this edition. Australia has a strong squad with players like Glenn Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis, while Ireland’s team is captained by Paul Stirling.

England and West Indies, both two-time T20 World Cup winners, will clash in Mumbai after securing victories in their opening matches. England narrowly defeated Nepal, while the West Indies comfortably beat Scotland. The head-to-head record between England and West Indies is closely contested, with England having won 19 matches to West Indies’ 18.
