The Agarwal family, already grieving the loss of 26-year-old Ketan Agarwal, is now mourning the passing of his grandfather, Devichand Agarwal, in Pune. Devichand had been undergoing treatment for serious health issues at a private hospital in the city. Ketan’s father, Vishal Agarwal, expressed his sorrow through a heartfelt social media post honoring his late father.
Sources close to the family revealed that Devichand had faced health complications following a major heart surgery and had been struggling with his health since then. The emotional toll of losing his grandson had deeply impacted Devichand, making an already challenging time even more difficult for the family.
Devichand’s health suddenly deteriorated this week, leading to his admission to a private hospital for urgent medical care. Despite efforts from the medical team, he could not be saved and eventually succumbed to his condition. His death comes shortly after the tragic incident involving Ketan’s demise at Lohagad Fort.
Investigations into Ketan’s death have revealed alleged premeditated planning by his fiancee, Siya Goyal, and her boyfriend, Chetan Chaudhary. The police reportedly found incriminating online searches and deleted messages indicating a planned approach to the crime. Goyal admitted to authorities that she conspired with Chaudhary to kill Ketan due to her reluctance to marry him, fearing dishonor to her family.
