Bollywood star Ajay Devgn, a year post ‘Raid 2’, expressed admiration for the Enforcement Directorate’s efforts against financial crimes. Taking to social media, he urged unity in combating financial wrongdoing and praised the ED’s actions. The Enforcement Directorate has been actively conducting raids nationwide on cases involving financial crimes, tax evasion, and money laundering.
Ajay’s post comes amidst the ED’s investigations into high-profile individuals like Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra. The focus remains on alleged money laundering related to the Gain Bitcoin Ponzi scheme. In a significant development, the ED accused Kundra of transactions amounting to approximately INR 150 crore, associated with cryptocurrency investments and a proposed mining venture.
Recently, Kundra faced court proceedings and secured bail while refuting the accusations and contesting the valuation. The ED also seized assets valued at around INR 97 crore in connection to the ongoing probe. On a different note, Ajay is gearing up for his upcoming project ‘Golmaal 5’. The actor shared updates on the film’s shoot, featuring a fun video from Ooty with co-stars Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Sharman Joshi, Shreyas Talpade, and Kunal Kemmu.
