Akbaruddin Owaisi, a leader of AIMIM in Telangana Assembly, has affirmed his commitment to constructing educational institutions, stating that for every one demolished, he will build ten more. This declaration follows the Telangana High Court granting authorities a week to present records regarding the Barrister Fatima Owaisi Educational KG-PG Campus allegedly built in a disputed area. Owaisi emphasized that attempts to pressure him and target his educational institutions will not deter his resolve to provide free education to the underprivileged.
The MLA expressed his determination to continue his mission of offering free education, supporting orphans, empowering women, and providing free NEET coaching, regardless of external pressures. He vowed to persist even if faced with challenges, asserting that his educational establishments will remain operational even in his absence. Responding to criticism, Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, questioned Owaisi’s actions, alleging that the High Court seeks accountability while Owaisi challenges the system.
Bandi Sanjay Kumar criticized the Congress government’s handling of the situation, questioning the delay in responding to the High Court’s directives and the differential treatment towards educational institutions associated with Owaisi. He highlighted the alleged illegality of constructing educational facilities on disputed land and pledged that if the BJP assumes power, the Fatima institutions will be demolished with provisions made for the affected students.
