Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad spokesperson Bhakti Charan Das Maharaj praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for becoming the longest-serving head of an elected government in India. Maharaj, speaking from Nashik, Maharashtra, extended his best wishes to the Prime Minister, hailing this milestone as a testament to stable and decisive leadership. He emphasized that serving the nation and Bharat Mata for 8931 days is a significant and remarkable achievement, reflecting consistent leadership and dedication to national service.

Maharaj highlighted that PM Modi’s journey symbolizes continuous service to the Sanatan tradition and national interest. He noted that under Modi’s leadership, Indian culture, religion, and spiritual heritage have gained global recognition, strengthening the country’s cultural identity. Maharaj, representing the sant community, expressed confidence in the nation’s progress while preserving and promoting its cultural and spiritual values.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently made history in Indian politics by surpassing former Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling to become the longest-serving head of an elected government in India. Modi’s tenure of 8,931 days combines his time as Chief Minister of Gujarat from October 7, 2001, to May 21, 2014, and his ongoing tenure as Prime Minister since May 26, 2014, marking over two decades of continuous leadership in public office.
