Bollywood star Akshay Kumar expressed pride in being part of Maharashtra on Maharashtra Day, celebrated on May 1. Hosting a quiz show, he highlighted meeting people from across the state, each with their own aspirations. Kumar, who has lived in Maharashtra for over three decades, emphasized the importance of patience and respect as a host.
He shared that hosting the show has provided a platform for ordinary individuals to shine, reflecting the spirit of Maharashtra Day. Kumar, fluent in Marathi, has embraced the local culture and language. Recalling his journey from a small flat to owning multiple houses in Mumbai, he credited hard work and his mother’s advice for his success.
Kumar is gearing up for his next movie, “Welcome to the Jungle,” after his recent appearance in “Bhoot Bangla” alongside Tabu and Paresh Rawal.
