During a candid conversation, Akshay emphasized the importance of learning to say “sorry” for a happy marriage. The duo shared humorous anecdotes about their wives, creating moments of warmth and laughter on the show.
Bringing humor to the set, Akshay Kumar playfully asked Riteish about his long relationship with Genelia, to which Riteish humorously replied, “10 years of dating and 14 years of marriage, so it’s been 24 years in total.” Akshay jokingly advised, “Ask the person who’s been married for 25 years. You have to learn how to say sorry.” The banter continued as Genelia joined in, humorously calling Riteish the “sorry Deshmukh,” eliciting laughter from everyone.
Further adding to the fun, Akshay shared insights into his own marriage with Twinkle Khanna, revealing, “My wife has a different way. If she’s angry, I find out at night when my side of the bed is wet because she throws water on it.” Riteish, amused, expressed his fondness for Twinkle, referring to her by her birth name, Tina.
