An all-party meeting is scheduled at the Chief Minister’s Office in Jaipur on Thursday at 4 P.M. to discuss the LPG situation in Rajasthan. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will chair the meeting, emphasizing the government’s commitment to ensuring a smooth supply of cooking gas across the state.
The Opposition in Rajasthan had previously urged the government to convene this meeting to address the LPG crisis. Leader of the Opposition, Tikaram Jully, expressed deep concern over the energy and fuel shortages in the state, highlighting the challenges faced by the public due to the lack of essential amenities.
State Food and Civil Supplies Minister, Sumit Godara, recently conducted a high-level review meeting to address the situation. He reassured the public that there is an ample stock of domestic cooking gas in Rajasthan, with timely deliveries of LPG cylinders within three to four days of booking. Godara also emphasized the need for strict enforcement to prevent malpractices in distribution and ensure the availability of gas to genuine consumers.
Representatives from various political parties, including key leaders like Joga Ram Patel, Sumit Godara, and Tikaram Jully, are expected to participate in the all-party meeting chaired by CM Sharma, highlighting a collaborative effort to tackle the LPG supply challenges in the state.
