An alleged attack on Vijendra Nath Tiwari, the brother of Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi, has been reported in Bihar’s Gopalganj district. Tiwari sustained serious injuries in the incident that occurred in Belsand village on Sunday night and is currently receiving treatment at Patna Medical College and Hospital. The attack is believed to have arisen from a long-standing land dispute and previous animosity between the parties involved.
Preliminary investigations suggest that Tiwari was outside his residence when he was assaulted by unidentified individuals using sharp-edged weapons. The assailants fled the scene upon the arrival of family members and villagers who responded to the commotion. Tiwari was initially taken to Gopalganj Sadar Hospital but was later transferred to Patna Medical College and Hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
Law enforcement officials have launched an inquiry into the incident and have registered a case based on the victim’s and witnesses’ statements. The police have identified the suspects but they are currently evading capture. Raids are being conducted to apprehend the perpetrators involved in the attack, which is suspected to be linked to a previous land dispute.
Authorities have assured that a fair investigation is underway and have pledged to take strict action against those responsible for the assault. Efforts are ongoing to locate and arrest the accused individuals and ascertain the precise circumstances that led to the violent incident.
