Alleged dowry death victim Twisha Sharma’s accused husband Samarth Singh’s advocate, Gyanendra Sharma, has expressed no objections to a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) investigation or the second post-mortem examination conducted by AIIMS Delhi doctors. Gyanendra Sharma emphasized the importance of a fair investigation, welcoming any legal actions, including a CBI inquiry or a second post-mortem, if suspicions exist.
In response to the family’s accusations, Gyanendra Sharma denied any murder allegations, citing available CCTV footage and the initial post-mortem conducted at AIIMS Bhopal. He highlighted that the first post-mortem report indicated suicide, countering claims of foul play.
Addressing dowry allegations, the advocate mentioned that the dowry amount of Rs. 20 lakh was not a motive for murder, considering Samarth’s legal background and his family’s professions. He also clarified that Twisha’s in-laws acted promptly in trying to revive her and taking her to the hospital.
Gyanendra Sharma affirmed that Samarth Singh was not evading authorities, as he surrendered after his anticipatory bail plea was rejected. Twisha’s cousin expressed hope for justice, emphasizing the importance of the ongoing legal process and the upcoming second post-mortem to uncover the truth.
