Union Home Minister Amit Shah attended the ‘Uttar Pradesh Diwas’ festivities as the chief guest at Rashtra Prerna Sthal. The event, graced by dignitaries like Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, marked the honoring of distinguished personalities including Shubhanshu Shukla and Alakh Pandey.

During the event, Amit Shah introduced the ‘One District One Cuisine’ (ODOC) initiative, aiming to promote the unique traditional cuisine of each district in Uttar Pradesh. This scheme focuses on enhancing quality, branding, and market access for local flavors to gain recognition at regional, national, and global levels.

Accompanied by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Amit Shah visited stalls exhibiting a diverse array of traditional cuisines from different districts of the state. The leaders engaged with participants, acknowledging the cultural richness of Uttar Pradesh’s culinary heritage.

Several distinguished personalities, including Wing Commander Shubhanshu Shukla and Physics Wallah founder Alakh Pandey, were recognized with awards during the event for their notable contributions in various fields. A theme song titled ‘Uttar Pradesh, Uttam Pradesh’ was played, adding to the celebratory ambiance.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Ministers extended congratulations to the state’s residents on Uttar Pradesh Diwas, emphasizing the developmental progress achieved under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shared a message from Prime Minister Modi, highlighting Uttar Pradesh’s cultural significance and ongoing developmental endeavors.

Yogi Adityanath underscored the state’s infrastructure advancements, citing projects like the Purvanchal Expressway, Bundelkhand Expressway, and Ganga Expressway as catalysts for growth. Uttar Pradesh’s emergence as a key aviation hub with upcoming international airports in Lucknow, Varanasi, and Ayodhya was also emphasized.

The Chief Minister emphasized Uttar Pradesh’s contributions to the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative, showcasing the state’s prowess in mobile manufacturing and robust law enforcement. He praised the success of the ‘One District One Product’ scheme in empowering small entrepreneurs across districts.

In conclusion, Yogi Adityanath urged for collective efforts to propel Uttar Pradesh towards progress, recognizing the state’s pivotal role in national development. He reiterated his best wishes to the people on Uttar Pradesh Diwas, emphasizing the state’s potential for growth and prosperity.
