Union Home Minister Amit Shah, along with Gandhinagar MP, unveiled significant development initiatives worth over Rs 250 crore in Mansa and parts of Ahmedabad. The projects focus on enhancing civic amenities, education, and sports infrastructure in Mansa. Additionally, Shah inaugurated a Pharma Academy near Sanand Circle in Ahmedabad to boost skill training in the pharmaceutical sector.
In Mansa, Shah inaugurated a new sports complex and emphasized the importance of sports for local youth. He also introduced an underground sewerage system and a fire station to improve civic services. Furthermore, Shah initiated the redevelopment of Malav Lake and announced plans to upgrade the Kalol–Mansa Highway.
Addressing the public, Shah highlighted the historical significance of the Somnath Temple and the ongoing development of the Somnath corridor under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He stressed the need for collective efforts to maintain cleanliness in Mansa. In Ahmedabad, Shah laid the foundation stone for the Pharma Academy for Global Excellence (PAGE) at Sanand Circle, aiming to enhance skill training in the pharmaceutical industry.
