Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the ‘Sahkar Van’ project in Sumel village, Jaipur, during the Ministry of Cooperation’s 5th Foundation Day ceremony at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, present at the event, highlighted Rajasthan’s cooperative sector achievements and innovations, emphasizing the government’s commitment to “Sahkar Se Samriddhi” (Prosperity through Cooperation).
Sharma, the sole Chief Minister in attendance from all states, praised Rajasthan’s cooperative endeavors, which garnered national acclaim at the event. He underscored the cooperative movement’s role in fostering inclusive development and economic empowerment, crediting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for driving the vision into reality.
Stressing the Ministry of Cooperation’s pivotal role in rural development and farmers’ prosperity, Sharma commended Rajasthan’s progressive initiatives and administrative reforms to fortify the cooperative sector.
