Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Amit Shah, commemorated ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ by honoring freedom fighter Shaheed Udham Singh on his birth anniversary. Shah praised Udham Singh for his exceptional courage in seeking justice for those who perished in the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. He highlighted Udham Singh’s pivotal role in advancing India’s freedom struggle abroad through the Ghadar movement.
Shah emphasized that Udham Singh’s valor continues to inspire the youth, fostering a profound sense of patriotism. Additionally, Shah paid respects to Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Mata Gujri, and the courageous Sahibzadas on ‘Veer Bal Diwas’, acknowledging their sacrifices for faith and country. He lauded the Sahibzadas’ unwavering commitment to humanity despite facing severe oppression.
Furthermore, Shah underscored Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative to commemorate ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ as a means to ensure the enduring legacy of the Sahibzadas’ sacrifice. He reflected on the martyrdom of Guru Gobind Singh, Mata Gujri, and the Sahibzadas, honoring their contributions to the nation. Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan also paid tribute to the Sahibzadas, praising their courage, faith, and dedication as a timeless example for future generations.
