He credited Yediyurappa for bringing the BJP to power in Karnataka in 2008, breaking barriers for the party in the region. Shah praised Yediyurappa’s resilience in facing political challenges and his commitment to public welfare, particularly for farmers.
Describing Yediyurappa as a leader who overcame numerous struggles, Shah highlighted his rise from a humble background to becoming Karnataka Chief Minister four times. Shah also praised Yediyurappa’s commitment to democracy, citing his imprisonment during the Emergency for defending democratic principles.
