Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah is set to address the ‘Uttar Pradesh Day’ celebrations in Lucknow on January 24. He will be the Chief Guest and will launch the ‘One District One Cuisine’ (ODOC) scheme at the event. This initiative aims to promote the unique traditional cuisine of each district in Uttar Pradesh by enhancing quality, branding, and market accessibility.
During the celebrations, Amit Shah will also inaugurate the Sardar Patel Industrial Zone Programme. He is scheduled to recognize districts that have excelled under the Uttar Pradesh Government’s CM YUVA scheme and will present the Uttar Pradesh Gaurav Samman 2025-26. Recently, the Union Home Minister participated in the ‘Centenary Year Celebration 2026’ in Haridwar, emphasizing the spiritual significance of Uttarakhand and its historical importance as a land of penance.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami highlighted the event’s significance, noting the spiritual energy and legacy of saints in Haridwar. Amit Shah underscored the importance of the Gayatri Family’s centenary year, symbolizing societal renewal and the evolution of consciousness. The event commemorated the remarkable legacies of Mother Bhagwati Devi Sharma and Gurudev Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya, marking a milestone in spiritual and societal progress.
