Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to unveil a “charge sheet” or a “White Paper” targeting the West Bengal government and the ruling Trinamool Congress on March 28 during his visit to the state ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) sources revealed this information. The BJP had initially planned to release its manifesto, termed “Sankalp Patra,” on April 3 or April 4.
During a recent ‘Parivartan Yatra’ event in Raidighi, South 24 Parganas district, Amit Shah outlined the party’s proposed initiatives if it secures power in West Bengal post the elections. The party is keen on having the Union Home Minister personally unveil the “Sankalp Patra.”
On the second day of his West Bengal visit, BJP President Nitin Nabin led a series of crucial meetings with the party’s state election management team. These discussions, which included various groups like women, youth NGOs, and scheduled caste and scheduled tribe representatives, focused on enhancing booth-level management and refining the party’s election strategy.
The West Bengal BJP unit’s statement highlighted Nitin Nabin’s confidence in the state’s readiness for change and emphasized the electorate’s concerns regarding governance, development, women’s safety, and employment opportunities. The upcoming state election is seen as a pivotal moment for West Bengal, with a call for progress, security, and good governance. Party workers were urged to actively engage with citizens, disseminate the party’s vision, and work diligently towards victory.
