Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu shared the state’s vision for Swarna Andhra 2047 during the 11th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog in New Delhi. The plan aligns with the national goal of Viksit Bharat 2047, aiming to create a prosperous and globally competitive economy driven by human capital development. Naidu emphasized key focus areas including poverty eradication, job creation, skill enhancement, water and energy security, and growth through technology integration.
The vision also highlights Andhra Pradesh’s technology-driven governance approach, utilizing tools like Real Time Governance Society and Artificial Intelligence for efficient decision-making and citizen services. The state’s governance reforms and business-friendly environment have attracted investments exceeding Rs 23 lakh crore, leading to significant economic growth and job opportunities. Naidu urged states to prioritize infrastructure development, policy consistency, and streamlined approvals over unsustainable competition for investments.
Naidu reiterated the state’s commitment to providing essential amenities to every family, emphasizing inclusive development. He introduced the P4-MBK 10-20 initiative promoting support from the affluent to the underprivileged for equitable growth. Andhra Pradesh’s healthcare initiative, Project Sanjeevani, focuses on digital healthcare solutions and improved medical access. The state is also revamping its education sector with AI-based learning, industry-integrated higher education, and skilling programs in cutting-edge fields.
Addressing demographic challenges, Naidu stressed the need for sustainable population policies to tackle workforce shortages and ensure economic stability. He affirmed Andhra Pradesh’s dedication to cooperative federalism, pledging collaboration with the Government of India and NITI Aayog for shared growth and prosperity.
