Naidu highlighted Vennam’s achievements as a source of inspiration for young athletes in the state and expressed his commitment to nurturing more champions through APEX 2036.
Sports Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy also lauded the Indian women’s compound archery team for their success in Madrid. He emphasized the exceptional talent displayed by Vennam, Pradeep, and Taniparthi, noting their victory over South Korea in the semi-finals as a remarkable feat. Reddy expressed confidence in the team’s ability to secure further international medals for India and extended his best wishes to them.
In a separate event, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy congratulated Kranti Gaud for her historic achievement in cricket. Gaud became the first woman to feature on the Lord’s Honours Board after a remarkable five-wicket haul in a test match against England. Chief Minister Reddy commended Gaud’s performance, urging support for the women’s cricket team amidst the football season.
