Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu instructed TDP MPs to work towards obtaining Central funds for ongoing state development projects. He emphasized the importance of focusing on development opportunities and resolving issues in their respective parliamentary constituencies. Naidu addressed the Telugu Desam Parliamentary party meeting, outlining key topics for discussion during the upcoming Parliament Budget Session.
He directed MPs to engage with relevant Ministers and Secretaries to ensure the allocation of central funds for Andhra Pradesh. Naidu highlighted the significance of special packages for backward regions and key projects like Polavaram–Nallamala Sagar. Additionally, he mentioned plans to introduce a Bill in the session to establish legal recognition for Amaravati as the state capital.
The Chief Minister stressed the completion of the Polavaram project and Rehabilitation and Resettlement efforts. He expressed the need for additional funds from the Centre for project completion. Naidu also emphasized the importance of resolving water resource disputes with neighboring states and presenting Andhra Pradesh’s stance firmly on related issues in Parliament.
Naidu urged MPs to actively participate in state and national-level development initiatives and to secure necessary funds for various projects. He emphasized the importance of unity within the alliance and proactive engagement with national programs. The Chief Minister highlighted the acceleration of construction works in Amaravati and outlined plans for the state’s development under the Purvodaya project.
