Chandrababu Naidu, the national president of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), expressed disapproval of the comments made against Pawan Kalyan in Telangana, stating that such actions do not demonstrate a constructive approach. He urged against creating unnecessary issues through such statements. Naidu highlighted the need for leaders to focus on development and public service rather than stirring up division among people.
The TDP leader emphasized that leaders have the freedom to conduct public meetings in any location, citing his own campaigning in Tamil Nadu during recent elections. He pointed out that leaders from various regions, including Karnataka and national figures, participated in campaigning in Tamil Nadu. Naidu noted the active presence of the Congress party and the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Telangana, questioning the motives behind certain statements made by leaders in the region.
Naidu underscored the importance of competition in providing better services to the public, rather than fostering division. He highlighted the role of Telugu people holding constitutional positions in countries like the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom, emphasizing the significance of serving the public effectively to emerge as leaders.
