Andhra Pradesh Minister for Human Resources Development and Information Technology, Nara Lokesh, requested External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar to assist a Telugu family stuck at Hong Kong Airport due to lost passports. The family, en route from Hyderabad to Chicago via Hong Kong, faced the passport issue during their journey. Rajeswari Bolla, a member of the family, sought urgent help through social media.
Lokesh, the son of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, made a plea on behalf of the stranded family after being tagged by Rajeswari Bolla. Expressing regret over the situation, Lokesh urged the External Affairs Minister to intervene promptly and aid the distressed family. The family, including young children, has been stranded at the airport for over 52 hours.
Rajeswari Bolla shared details of the incident online, highlighting the predicament they were facing. She appealed for assistance in locating the lost passports, which included Indian and USA passports. The family’s bag, containing the passports, went missing during their flight from Hyderabad to Hong Kong. Rajeswari Bolla also urged anyone who might have been on the same flight to come forward with any information that could help in recovering the documents.
