The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, highlighted the government’s success in rebuilding the state’s reputation over the past 18 months. This effort has led to Andhra Pradesh securing a significant share of investments, amounting to 25% of the total investments in the country. Notable investments include Google’s plan for an AI data center in Visakhapatnam and RSLR Mittal’s proposal for a massive steel plant with a Rs 1 lakh crore investment.

Telugu Diaspora members from 20 countries gathered in Zurich to hear the Chief Minister speak during his visit for the World Economic Forum meeting. The government aims to attract investments totaling Rs 22 lakh crore to generate employment opportunities for 20 lakh youth. Emphasizing the focus on advanced technologies like Quantum computing, AI, Space, and Drones, the Chief Minister also highlighted upcoming health initiatives such as the Sanjeevani health program.

In a bid to encourage entrepreneurship among Non-Resident Telugus (NRTs), the Andhra Pradesh government has established a Rs.50 crore fund. The Chief Minister urged NRTs to transition from employees to job providers through innovative entrepreneurial ventures. Additionally, the government has set up the AP FIRST research center in Tirupati to foster innovation and create employment prospects for the youth.
