Hollywood star Angelina Jolie has decided to sell her Los Angeles property, once owned by filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille, for $29.85 million. The estate, spanning over 2 acres, boasts a six-bedroom mansion with 10 bathrooms, covering 11,000 square feet of living space. Additionally, the property includes a guest house studio, a pool house, a fitness studio, a tea house, and a separate garage with a security station.
The mansion offers stunning views of the Hollywood Hills and Griffith Observatory, surrounded by century-old trees, expansive lawns, and complete seclusion. Originally designed by architect B. Cooper Corbett in 1913, the estate was later acquired by DeMille in 1916 and remained in the DeMille family until the late 1980s. Jolie purchased the property in 2017 for $24.5 million, following her divorce from Brad Pitt in 2016.
After an interview in August 2024, Jolie hinted at the possibility of leaving Los Angeles once her twins reach 18 in July 2026. She expressed her desire for her children to have privacy, peace, and safety, mentioning a preference for the global humanity she has experienced over her upbringing in Los Angeles.
