Industrialist Anil Ambani is scheduled to attend the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) headquarters in Delhi on March 19-20. This appearance is related to an FIR filed by the State Bank of India concerning Reliance Communications Ltd. (RCOM). Anil Ambani’s spokesperson stated that his cooperation with all agencies remains steadfast in this matter.

Anil Ambani’s son, Jai Anmol Ambani, was recently interrogated by the CBI for two days in connection with a Rs 228 crore fraud case involving Reliance Home Finance Ltd (RHFL). The investigation involves allegations against Jai Anmol Anil Ambani, RHFL’s former CEO, Ravindra Sudhalkar, and others.

The CBI initiated a criminal case on December 6, 2025, regarding the alleged bank fraud concerning RHFL, Jai Anmol Anil Ambani, Ravindra Sudhalkar, and unidentified individuals. This case, based on a complaint by Union Bank of India, alleges criminal conspiracy, cheating, and criminal misconduct resulting in a loss of Rs 228.06 crore to Union Bank of India.

The Enforcement Directorate recently seized properties worth over Rs 581 crore belonging to Anil Ambani’s group companies, RHFL and Reliance Commercial Finance Limited (RCFL).
