Anshul Kabthiyal and Honey Baisoya emerged as joint leaders in the third round of the Chhattisgarh Open 2026, both scoring six-under 63 to reach a total of 21-under 186 at the Fairway Golf & Lake Resort in Naya Raipur. American Jhared Hack secured the third position with a score of 20-under 187.
Anshul Kabthiyal, aged 21, showcased a strong performance with a series of birdies after an early break in the third round. Kabthiyal, who has been consistent with his game, expressed satisfaction with his improved performance this season, emphasizing his strategic approach and mindset.
Honey Baisoya, a seven-time winner on the DP World PGTI, demonstrated skillful play with five birdies in the initial 11 holes. Despite a bogey setback, Baisoya’s strong finish included an eagle conversion and a birdie. He attributed his success to dedicated practice during the New Year break, enhancing his chipping and putting skills.
