US-based AI safety and research company Anthropic has named Irina Ghose as the Managing Director for the Indian market. Ghose, previously the Managing Director at Microsoft India, brings over thirty years of experience in expanding technology businesses. She expressed optimism about India’s potential to influence the development and deployment of AI on a large scale.
Ghose highlighted the shift in Indian organizations towards applied AI, emphasizing the importance of trust, safety, and long-term impact alongside innovation.
