The Anti-Jail Bail and Proclaimed Offenders Cell of Dwarka District Police apprehended Mohit, a Proclaimed Offender evading trial in a robbery case. Mohit, also known as Monty, was declared a Proclaimed Offender on April 22 in connection with a robbery case registered at Janakpuri Nagar Police Station.
A special drive against Proclaimed Offenders, directed by Dwarka District DCP Kushal Pal Singh, led to Mohit’s arrest. The police team, under Inspector Harish Kumar and ACP Operations Subhash Malik, worked diligently to locate Mohit, who was found in Madipur area on May 1. He was arrested under Section 35.1(D) of the BNSS at PS Dwarka North.
Mohit, a 31-year-old resident of JJ Colony, Madipur, Delhi, with a history of involvement in 10 criminal cases, is currently under investigation by the police.
The Delhi Police also swiftly resolved a house theft case by apprehending Md. Ashad Anwar, the burglar, hours after the incident. Anwar was found in possession of stolen electronic devices, including Apple products, which were recovered by the police.
