Veteran actor Anupam Kher shared his joy at seeing his books displayed in a bookstore, expressing gratitude for this unexpected turn in his career. Kher, known for his work on screen and stage, never imagined he would one day be called an author. Despite coming from a Hindi medium background, he now has four life-coaching books written in English, a fact that he finds both special and humbling.
Each book on the shelf represents more than just a publication to Kher. He sees them as symbols of overcoming language barriers, evolving dreams, and the possibility of reinvention at any age. This experience fills him with not just a sense of importance but also deep gratitude for the journey he has undertaken.
Currently, Anupam Kher is busy shooting for the sequel to the 2006 film “Khosla Ka Ghosla!” directed by Dibakar Banerjee. The movie tells the story of a middle-class Delhi family’s struggle to reclaim their land from a builder. Originally screened at the 2006 Kara Film Festival, the film received critical acclaim and even won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi at the 54th National Film Awards.
Reflecting on his cinematic journey, Anupam Kher marked the beginning of shooting for his 550th film, “Khosla Ka Ghosla 2,” on January 3.
