Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and Indian cricket legend Virat Kohli visited Vrindavan to meet Premanand Maharaj, the Gurudev, on Tuesday. Premanand Maharaj is reportedly spending time with the couple in a secluded place. Videos and images online show the couple wearing face masks and walking around the area.
Virat Kohli’s team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, recently won the IPL trophy for the second consecutive time. In the IPL 2026 final against Gujarat Titans, RCB successfully defended their title by winning with five wickets in Ahmedabad. Kohli’s unbeaten 75 runs helped RCB chase down 156 runs for victory. The bowling attack, led by Rasikh Dar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Josh Hazlewood, restricted GT to 155/8.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi emerged as the season’s top run-scorer with 776 runs, breaking multiple batting records. Virat Kohli’s stellar performance throughout the tournament culminated in a match-winning innings in the final. RCB’s victory in the IPL 2026 final marked them as the third franchise in IPL history to secure consecutive titles, establishing them as the dominant team of the 2025–26 season.
Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma has been absent from the screen for nearly four years. Her sports biopic ‘Chakda ‘Xpress,’ based on Indian pace legend Jhulan Goswami, has been put on hold. Anushka’s last appearance was in a cameo role in the streaming movie ‘Qala,’ featuring Triptii Dimri. The film was directed by Anvita Dutt and produced by Anushka’s brother, Karnesh Ssharma.
