Actress Archana Puran Singh revealed on an episode of Wheel of Fortune that her frugality, which some may perceive as being ‘kanjoos’ (miserly), actually stems from her environmental concerns. She discussed her habit of conserving everyday items during a conversation with host Akshay Kumar on the show. Singh mentioned how she reuses items like tissues instead of discarding them immediately, showcasing her mindful approach towards waste reduction.

Singh also disclosed that she still owns clothing pieces that are 25 to 30 years old, defying conventional advice to discard old items due to changing fashion trends. Emphasizing her belief that fashion trends are cyclical, she advocates for reusing and repurposing old garments rather than disposing of them unnecessarily. Despite being in the entertainment industry for nearly four decades, Singh has consistently promoted environmental conservation through her vlogs on YouTube.

Apart from her acting career, Archana Puran Singh is known for her role as Mrs. Briganza in the iconic movie “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,” starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Anupam Kher, and Farida Jalal. She has also shared her environmental conservation views through her online presence. Singh is married to Bollywood actor Parmeet Sethi.
