Actress-singer Ariana Grande will not be appearing in the upcoming season of ‘American Horror Story’ as previously announced by creator Ryan Murphy. The 33-year-old had to withdraw from the show due to conflicts with her Eternal Sunshine tour, as reported by ‘Female First UK’. Grande was set to star alongside Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, and Gabourey Sidibe, who have been filming in New York.
This departure marks a missed opportunity for Grande to expand her acting portfolio, having recently appeared in projects like the Wicked movies and alongside Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller in Focker-in-Law. Despite her focus on acting, Grande assured fans that she will continue singing. In an interview, she expressed her enjoyment of acting and the need to strike a balance between her two passions.
Grande’s collaboration with Ryan Murphy in ‘American Horror Story’ would have been a reunion, as she had previously worked with him on ‘Scream Queens’. Currently on her Eternal Sunshine tour, Grande will wrap up with a series of shows at London’s O2 Arena from August 15 to September 1, 2026.
