Under the banner of Sapta Shakti Command, the Curtain Raiser Ceremony for Army Day Parade 2026 took place at JECRC University in Jaipur, honoring the valor, sacrifice, and spirit of the Indian Army. The event showcased the Army’s ethos of selfless service, courage, and commitment to the nation, aiming to inspire patriotism, duty, and national unity among the youth and citizens.
The Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Bhajan Lal Sharma, commended the professionalism, spirit, and legacy of the Indian Army, recognizing its significant contribution to nation-building. He emphasized that the event would blend military ethos, bravery, and the cultural heritage of Rajasthan.
Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander of Sapta Shakti Command, highlighted the strong bond between the Armed Forces and the people of Rajasthan, emphasizing the Army’s dedication to the nation’s security, prosperity, and welfare. He encouraged citizens to witness the Army Day Parade, showcasing India’s military strength and operational excellence.
The ceremony was attended by senior officials, police dignitaries, veterans, serving personnel, families from Rajasthan, NCC cadets, students, and faculty of JECRC University. Veer Naris and Veteran Achievers were honored, recognizing the sacrifices of soldiers, their families, and the contributions of veterans post-retirement.
The teaser for Army Day Parade 2026 was unveiled, paying tribute to the Indian Army’s legacy, traditions, and operational achievements, receiving applause and admiration. The event reinforced the nation’s gratitude, reverence, and pride for its soldiers, enhancing the Military-Civil connection in the region.
Citizens were urged to honor and celebrate the bravery of uniformed personnel by witnessing this historic spectacle in Jaipur for the first time.
