Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu reiterated the government’s commitment to a fair recruitment system. He praised 404 successful candidates of the Junior Engineer Combined Recruitment Examination-2025. The Chief Minister highlighted the rigorous selection process where out of 9,023 candidates, 404 were chosen after interviews.
The Chief Minister commended the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission for its transparent conduct of the examination. He mentioned reforms undertaken by the government after irregularities in 2020. Khandu credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s emphasis on systemic reforms for the state’s progress. He encouraged the newly appointed engineers to aim for higher goals, including exams by the Public Service Commission and UPSC.
The Junior Engineers will work in key engineering departments like PWD, RWD, and UD&H. Khandu stressed the importance of quality and timely completion of government projects. He highlighted the engineers’ role in infrastructure development and the need for professional standards. The state government plans to provide professional training for the engineers before their field postings.
